CANDIED PECANS

Ingredients:
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. melted butter
1-1/2 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º.  
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.  
Put the sugar, corn syrup & butter in a small saucepan & stir to combine.
Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil & cook for 5 minutes.  
Add the pecans & stir to combine.  Remove from heat.
Spread the pecans, in a single layer, on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
Remove from the oven & cool completely before serving.
Store at room temperature in an air-tight container.
