Scrub potatoes, cut in 1-inch cubes. Add enough cold water to just cover potatoes.
cover & bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer 7 min., just till tender.
Drain & set aside.
In a 3 c. microwaveable dish cook peas till barely tender. Drain & set aside.
In heavy med. saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat; stir in flour.
Slowly stir in milk, making sure there are no lumps.
Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, till mixture boils.
Remove from heat; add salt & pepper, onion, potatoes & peas.
Return to med. heat &, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. R
Remove from heat, serve & enjoy. Mmmm!!!
