Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Scald milk. Cool slightly.
Mix together slightly beaten eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon & vanilla.
Gradually pour in cooled scalded milk a little at a time. Mix again.
Pour into 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
Place dish into a baking pan & fill the pan with 1 inch of hot water.
Bake 30-35 minutes or till knife inserted into center comes out clean.
Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate after cooling.
