EVELYN YODER'S CHEESE PUFF
Our dear friend, Evelyn, served this at one of her delicious dinners

Ingredients:
3 tbsp. butter, softened
8 slices white bread, crusts removed
2 c. (1/2 lb.) grated sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs
2-1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Spread butter on bread slices; cut slices into 1-inch cubes.
Place 1/3 of bread cubes into a 2-qt. baking dish
Sprinkle 1/3 of cheese over bread cubes.
Repeat these layers of bread & cheese two more times (3 bread/cheese layers in all).
In a med. bowl, combine thoroughly the eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire, salt & paprika.  
Pour over the bread/cheese layers; cover; chill 3 hours or overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 350ºF for 1 hour or till puffed & golden brown.
