Ingredients:

9 c. Checks or Krisp-X
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter or margarine

1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
2-gallon Zip-lock bag

Directions:

Melt chocolate, peanut butter, and butter in 1 qt. container in microwave,
(high 1 to 1-1/2  min., stir after 1 min.)
or, on stove top in saucepan.
Don't overheat this mixture, as it burns easily.
Stir in vanilla  when mixture is warm.
Spread dry cereal out on cookie sheet or put in large bowl with room to toss & mix.
Spread chocolate-peanut butter mixture over  cereal mixture.
Mix well, being careful not to crush cereal.
Zip it all into the plastic bag with 1-1/2 c. powdered sugar.
Shake until coated and nuggets start to break apart a little bit.
Spread out on waxed paper & cool completely.
Krisp-X works better for staying crisp.
Store in plastic containers or zip lock bags.
Will stay crisp for about two weeks once it cools.
